How to play PS1 games on your computer

1. Download a Playstation emulator. http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psx/psx_em.html
2. Put SCPH1001.bin in the bios folder. http://www.filestube.com/9cacfff71a609ee103e9/go.html
3. Download roms to play games.  http://www.emuparadise.org/Sony_Playstation_ISOs/2

To run games using the emulator (as stated in the readme):
The emulator supports .cue/.bin, .ccd/.img/.sub, .iso, and .mdf/.mds CD images, the easiest way to run a game is to run the exe then select "Insert CD image" from the File menu.

Note that you will get best performance running in full-screen mode.
Press ALT+ENTER to switch between full-screen and windowed.
